Keep your goal in mind and continue your efforts until D-Day!<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.unlimitedbiking.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/athlete-bicycle-bike-8401-222x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1202\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Training to be done during the week of preparation! (Train for about 100&nbsp;miles)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Saturday:&nbsp;<\/strong>120 min flat terrain&nbsp;(40&nbsp;miles \u2013 Difficulty = Normal)<\/li><li><strong>Sunday:&nbsp;<\/strong>Rest &amp; Relax (Yoga or meditation)<\/li><li><strong>Monday:&nbsp;<\/strong>45 min steep terrain&nbsp;(20 miles \u2013 Difficulty = Hard)<\/li><li><strong>Tuesday:&nbsp;<\/strong>Rest &amp; Relax&nbsp;(Yoga or meditation)<\/li><li><strong>Wednesday:&nbsp;<\/strong>90 min flat terrain&nbsp;(30&nbsp;miles \u2013 Difficulty = Hard)<\/li><li><strong>Thursday:<\/strong>&nbsp;30&nbsp;min&nbsp;steep terrain (20&nbsp;miles \u2013 Difficulty = Hard) \/ Rest &amp; Relax&nbsp;(Yoga or meditation)<\/li><li><strong>Friday:&nbsp;<\/strong>30&nbsp;min Intensive with several phases of acceleration throughout your session (20 miles \u2013&nbsp;Difficulty = Hard) \/ Rest &amp; Relax&nbsp;(Yoga or meditation) in the evening<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>During the week, sleep well, eat and drink a lot!<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.unlimitedbiking.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/athlete-bicycle-bike-12838-300x187.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1203\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Remember that to be in shape during your training week but also for your competition you must make sure to feed yourself well and relax your mind. Diet and stress can play a big part in your success or failure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Always eat fresh, carbohydrate snack, or high protein foods that also contain good minerals and vitamins. You can eat small portions throughout the day. During your training do not forget your bar and energy drinks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember to always leave about 2 hours between your meals and exercises to have a good digestion and be in good shape on your bike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before the competition, stay focused and do not lose your goal! The mind also plays on your success!
