On the first Sunday in May, 32,000 cyclists of all skill levels come from around the world to roll through every borough of New York City on streets totally free of cars. For one day, the roads are yours, the bridges are yours, the City is yours—there’s no better way to experience the Big Apple.
When booking a bicycle with Unlimited Biking for the TD Five Boro Bike Tour, we offer you the option of picking up your bike near the starting line of the ride and then leaving it at the near the finish line at the Staten Island Ferry Terminal with our on-site team. Choosing this option means there is no extra hassle of getting the bike to the starting line or worrying about tune-ups prior to the race. There is also no need to wait in the bike line for the ferry to return your bike to another site when you're finished with the race, so we'll have a differnt chute for our clients.
All of the bicycles we offer are brand new Cannondales in a range of options to best suit your needs. We offer the Cannondale Kids Bike with either a 20” or the 24” wheel, the Cannondale Adventure 3 Ladies Bike, the Cannondale Quick 6 Men's Bike, and the Cannondale CAAD8 Road Bike for those looking for a high performance option.
As you may know, participation in the TD Five Boro Bike Tour requires that everyone must wear a helmet for the duration of the race. For your convenience, every one of our rentals comes with a Cannondale helmet at no additional charge.
When renting, you may also choose to pick up your bicycle the day before the ride at one of our four store locations. You may choose our Central Park location at 56 W. 56th Street, our Brooklyn Bridge location on the Manhattan side of the bridge at 110 South Street, our Hudson River location at Pier 78 on 39th Street and 12th Avenue, or our Harlem location at 111 W. 110th Street.
