Solving society’s most intractable problems—AIDS, homelessness, even COVID—isn’t a project any of us can do on our own. It takes a movement. It takes all of us, working together, to devise solutions. It takes creativity. Passion. And money.

That’s where Housing Works, and BRAKING AIDS® Ride, comes in. With its mission to end the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS, Housing Works fights for everyone to have access to healthcare, housing, and a fair shake. It’s called radical inclusion. It’s what makes Housing Works’ approach to ending AIDS and homelessness a national model.

And radical inclusion is what BRAKING AIDS® Ride is all about! We’re a diverse movement of riders, from seasoned triathletes to weekend warriors to casual cyclists. And now, whatever your level, we have a ride for you! Choose our classic 3-day, 300-mile challenge, or bite off a bit less with the 240-mile option. Does 75 miles sound more your speed? We’ve got that option, too! Whatever your comfort level, we have room for you in our movement as we ride, together, to end homelessness and AIDS.

This year, our three-day ride starts in gorgeous Saratoga Springs, taking us on a historic and scenic route to the state capital. Indeed, we’ll start Day 2 at the Capitol building and make our way through the Hudson Valley to Fishkill, where our one-day Riders will assemble to greet the three-day Riders. On Sunday, everyone will make our way together from Fishkill into New York City (route subject to change). For those who can’t be with us in person, there’s an engaging virtual ride that brings together many of the highlights and peak experiences of the in-person Ride in an online format.
