As you may know, participation in the Twin Lights Ride requires that everyone must wear a helmet for the duration of the ride. For your convenience, every one of our rentals comes with a Cannondale helmet at no additional charge.

Pick-Up and Drop - off Convenience

When booking a bicycle with Unlimited Biking for the Twin Lights Ride, riders will pick up their bikes at the start line Huddy Park in Highlands, NJ (301 Shore Drive). and then drop-off with our on-site team at the Finish, also Huddy Park in Highlands, NJ (301 Shore Drive). . No need to haul your rental to/from the ride!

Pedal Installment and Seat Adjustments

Our bikes come equipped with standard flat pedals to meet the needs of most riders. If you prefer your own pedals, we're happy to install them for you—just remember to bring them along when you pick up your bike.

Our on-site team is also available to assist with seat adjustments, ensuring your bike is comfortable and ready for the ride!

This event has been a favorite of local cyclists, New Yorkers, and visitors from around the country for over a decade.

FAQs

Where and when does the ride start?

All check-in for the Twin Lights Ride will take place at et al fine food, 300 Shore Drive, Highlands, NJ 07732. The Finish Festival is at Huddy Park, as in previous years.

Your start time depends on the distance you’ll be riding.

100 miles: 7:30AM – 8:00AM (Check-in starts at 6:30AM)
75 miles: 8:00AM – 8:45AM
55 miles: 8:30AM – 9:30AM
30 miles: 9:15AM – 10:15AM
15 miles: 9:45AM – 10:15AM

Note: Timing is based on route support and rest area services. Once a start window has closed, participants will no longer have access to that route and must switch to a shorter option.

For example: If you plan to ride the 100-mile route but arrive at 8:10AM, the start window has closed, and you will be asked to join the 75-mile route.

All riders must be on the route by 10:15AM. If you arrive after that time, we will not be able to provide your rider kit to you.

How does the Bike Shuttle work?

Drop off your own bike at Unlimited Biking Central Park store located at 56 W 56th St, New York, NY 10019 on Saturday, September 28th between 9AM-5PM; We will transport your bike to the ride where you can pick it up from our team at the start line in the morning of the ride (We are there early!).

After the ride, simply drop it off with Unlimited Biking at the Finish line with our on site team at Huddy Park in highland , NJ , and we’ll take it back to the same Unlimited Biking Store to be picked up on Monday between 9AM-6PM. Bikes picked up after Monday will incur a $10/day charge.
