What is considered a 'group'?
To receive special groups pricing a group is considered 15 guests or more. However, we are happy to welcome also small group sized for private adventures! Please see here for more group options.
What is the guide to guest ratio for tours?
Depending on the final group size, 1 guide per maximum 15 guests.
Which languages are available for the tours?
Our guides speak: English, German, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, and French. Let us know if your groups language is not listed here and we are happy to source guides especially for you.

What are your COVID measurements?
What we do:
- Limit a maximum number of guests for set up at the same time
- Disinfection station in each store for riders, bikes, employees and equipment
- Employees are required to wear masks and gloves
- Disinfect bikes before and after each ride
- Keep a 6 feet distance
What we ask our guests to do:
- Wear masks or nose and mouth cover (recommended)
- Keep the needed distance to other riders in small groups
What kind of bikes do you guys offer?
We offer hybrid bikes, road bikes, electric bikes, tandem bikes, and kid’s attachments (baby seats, double trailers, tag-a-longs). For road bikes, we offer aluminum and carbon options.
How skilled do you need to be to join one of the bike tours?
Our bike tours are not strenuous! It’s generally a leisurely ride with plenty of stops for fun facts and pictures! As long as you know how to ride a bike, you should be able to do the tours. Please see here for bike tours.
What if I can't ride a bike at all?
We have Segway Tours available as well! Our Sites by Segway Tour runs daily, year round, and are great options for those looking to do something unique and exciting! We only offer Segways with our tours and do not rent the separately.
Where are your locations in Washington DC?
We have one location in Alexandria, VA and one location in Washington DC. Our DC location is located at 998 Maine Avenue SW Washington DC 20024. Please see here!
What if I have a Sightseeing Pass?
You can join our 3 hour guided bike tours or get full day bike rentals with your pass! With the passes, you cannot make reservations for our bike tours. It is a first come, first serve basis. If you are concerned about getting a spot or want to ensure the tour is running, you can come into our stores as early as 8am to check in. For rentals, we have plenty of bikes so just come on in!
Where should I ride a bike around?
There are many places around Washington DC that you can ride around, including the National Mall, Tidal Basin, C&O Canal, Arlington Cemetery, and more!
Can I pick up my bike from one location and return at another?
Yes you can! You can pick it up from one Unlimited Biking location and return it at another. Please let our staff know at the time of check-in that you will be returning in a different location!
What is included with my rental?
Helmets, baskets/bike bags, locks and illustrated maps!
